iGaming SEO for the Ontario (Canada) market
Ontario isn’t one of the markets where I’ve directly run a regulated platform — I say so plainly, as with every market where the experience isn’t direct yet.
Regulatory context
Ontario was the first Canadian province to open a competitive regulated iGaming market, overseen by iGaming Ontario, with a model that allows multiple private operators to compete legally — different from the state-monopoly model typical of other Canadian provinces.
What I can offer in this market
My direct experience at an international iGaming operator spans six real regulated markets — Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands and New Zealand — plus Malta, where I lived working with MGA-licensed operators. Ontario is an emerging, growing market, included here for portfolio completeness more than for an already-measured demand signal: the same methodology that delivered results elsewhere applies to the same fundamentals — technical audit, intent-driven content strategy, digital PR, cannibalisation management — regardless of the specific market.
What this means in practice
If you’re evaluating an SEO strategy for a regulated operator in Ontario, we build authority in this specific market together, starting from fundamentals already proven elsewhere, without me pretending to a prior track record I don’t have in this jurisdiction.
